Sometimes I wonder about people. Watching the news, and I see how fucked up everything is, and it blows my mind.

A grown woman drives a girl to suicide, then the news portrays her as a victim when people demand justice.

A guy gets fired from McDonald's and kills 7 people in a shopping mall, destroying families.

More young americans come home in flag draped boxes, all because of a perceived attack on our freedom, when those who're taking our freedoms are the ones we elected to protect them.

Makes me wish I were in a pine box somewhere, or a cat. Then my only real worry would be worms.

Today, I bring you Omega Red. I kinda went a more Psycho Mantis look with him. I always found the musclebound version a bit ridiculous, I mean, if he feeds on life energies, he's not going to be all hypermuscular.

A friend and I were discussing the Young Avengers, and I came up with an analogue for Captain Marvel. She's basically a Kree Advanced Warrior. Her powers are flight and energy control.

This was actually designed for a friend of mine. He's doing a Smallville fanfiction and has already rebooted Green Lantern into a girl, so he was open to the idea of doing another 'genderswap' by establishing a new female character based on an older male character. Behold, Black Eve.Alas, his story is a bit stalled due to the fact that he broke both legs and is laid up in the hospital... but I know he'll get back to it when he can and it'll be great.

This is one of the more fun pieces that Skotti drew for the now-dead Ultimate Arachnia project. The girl on the left is Daisy O'Connor, and Astrid Jansen (the eponymous Arachnia) is on the right. Their outfit colors were very carefully picked at the time because the two were scheduled to evolve into Venom and Carnage respectively later in the series, but alas that never materialized due to Bendis's Clone Saga raping my Ultimate Muse. Sigh. What could have been...
